Being a popular beach holiday destination, there are plenty of luxury resorts in the Cook Islands, from spacious bungalows with full amenities to boutique resorts offering full services. There are also a handful of exclusive villas around Rarotonga aimed at those looking for an exceptionally high level of service with exquisite private living spaces on some of the premium beach front locations.
Rarotonga is the main island and has a good variety of luxury accommodation alongside secluded beach locations, with a good selection of self-contained bungalows and villas along the quiet south coast and boutique resorts at both Muri Beach and on the west coast. Aitutaki is a 40-minute flight to the north of Rarotonga and has a really laid back atmosphere together with a beautiful lagoon for exploring on day cruises - you'll find a couple of the nicest luxury resorts in the Cook Islands on the long stretch of sand that runs the entire length of the north-west coast of the island.
