Both windsurfing and kite-surfing are excellent right off the beach - kite-surfers can take 4-km or 7km boat rides for guided return journeys back to the lodge. Some of the best scuba diving sites are found a 35-minute boat ride to the world renowned Vatu-i-Ra Passage with exciting drift dives and pelagics (often on live-aboard itineraries); snorkelling is good off the beach, and exceptional on guided snorkelling trips to outer reefs; whilst quality sea-kayaks are available to exp[lore the coastline and surrounding islands..
