Fiji Large Hotels

Although Fiji is a small island destination there are quite a few large hotels which offer full amenities and some very affordable rates. Most of the large hotels in Fiji are found on the main island, in particular in and around Nadi and along the Coral Coast. There are a couple of large hotel resorts in the Mamanuca Islands which are a good option for families and have loads of activities going on and plenty of other children for your kids to mingle with. These resorts are exceptionally well set up for families with all day kids clubs and baby sitting whenever requires - Fijians make exceptional hosts and love looking after kids and keeping them entertained.

The large brand hotels all feature cement block rooms with flat screen TVs, huge swimming pools with swim-up bars, multiple restaurants with international cuisine, spas, gyms, tennis courts, kids clubs and lots of motorized water activities, but unlike the huge American all inclusive resorts, the majority are pay as you go giving you the freedom to eat where you want and to do as little or as much as you wish. Although they tend to be well organised, they all miss the real essence of a Fiji holiday – its friendly charm and down to earth character.
