Hotel Amenities

The Cottage features two bedrooms, a living room and large bathroom. Each bedroom is appointed with a King size bed with pillow top mattress and pure Sateen Italian sheets and is appropriately furnished for maximum comfort. The living room offers private dining, tea & coffee and chilled beverages.

The Cottage has an extensive book, music and video library for your enjoyment but no TV or phones. All meals are prepared in the main house and served in the main dining room or in the privacy of the Cottage or one of the dining decks. Each guest is provided with a Koro Makawa robe, slippers and Sulu. The Cottage is surrounded by a large deck with infinity plunge pool cascading its spring fed water through the gardens below.

Koro Makawa Resort has a sandy beach approximately one kilometer long directly in front of the beach cottage. Ocean waters are temperate year around and the beach directly in front of the cottage is gradual, protected by an outer reef making a safe area for small children.

Guests can picnic on a uninhabited island (5 minutes by boat) and snorkel or dive with resident Manta Rays. Other activities include Kayaking, Snorkelling, Scuba Diving (access to Astrolabe Reef), walking trails and village tours.

Boat transfers from Vunisea Airport on Kadavu take around 90 minutes and cost approx US$ 50 per person one way. The boat is a cabin fibre with canopy and meets US Coast Guard standards.
