Resort Setting & Amenities
Pacific Resort is located in the heart of Muri Beach adjacent to the Sailing Club. The beach directly infront of the main resort area is of fine white sand and offers a good depth even at high tide. There is a channel fronting the villas where the beach narrows. The lagoon has a sandy bottom and is protected by two offshore islands making Muri Lagoon the premier swimming and watersports location on Rarotonga. There is an activities hut on the beachfront with kayaks, paddle boards, snorkelling gear and windsurfers. Lagoon cruises visit the offshore islets or you can paddle across the lagoon yourself.

sunriseOn-site facilities include a freshwater but rather tired looking swimming pool, the Beach Bungalows Activities Centre with windsurfing and lunch cruises or snorkel cruise with BBQ lunch option. There is car & bike hire, a tour desk, gift shop, DVD rental and laptops for hire, and a 24-hour reception. There is also ‘Pacific Island Massage’ offering reflexology, pregnancy massage, ear-candling, and holistic therapies.
The beachfront Lagoon Terrace and ‘Barefoot Bar’ offer cocktails and happy hour, and the ‘Sandals Restaurant’ is open all day for lunch and dinner. The menu is good and varied with light dishes under NZ$ 20 and grill dishes for an average of NZ$ 25. Island Nights are put on twice weekly with dinner and entertainment in the price
