Resort Setting & Amenities

The beach directly infront of the resort is of fine white sand and stretches for several kilometres in both directions making it a great spot for beachcombing. The lagoon is only average for swimming though with exposed coral heads at low tide. There are decent patches in the lagoon for snorkelling at high tide. The fringing reef is about 300 metres from the shoreline which is quite some distance and at low tide is great for reef walking amongst the tidal rock pools.

Crown Beach Resort is a beautiful spot for a wedding with a variety of different wedding packages available plus an In-House Wedding Coordinator. Other services and facilities include 24 hour security, luggage store, day use room, tour desk, gift shop, vehicle rental, DVD hire, room service, car park, and laundry facilities (for a fee).

There are two restaurants on-site; the casual ‘Oceans’ which is open weekdays for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  The simple menu offers meat, fish and light dishes with occasional theme nights and entertainment. The second, ‘Windjammer restaurant’ offers fine dining every night but Tuesday.

Complimentary for all guests are snorkelling equipment, kayaks, use of the gym, and evening turndowns.  On-site there is a large freshwater swimming pool with waterfall, a Five-Star PADI Dive Centre, and a spa treatment offering massages and beauty therapy.  There is also a Business Centre with broadband and wireless , fax and photocopier.
